SERIES REVIEW: THE GIFT
REVIEW: THE GIFT
Genres: Science fiction, Mystery, Mythological thriller.
I've always enjoyed Turkish television shows. This content, in my opinion, was the most epic and incomparable cinematic experience ever. The combination of stellar casting and acting talent, eye-catching location, stunning script writing, and perplexing camera angles transported me to another dimension. Every sequence and shot was a work of pure magical art and brilliance. Overall, based on my experience, I would need to create a new scale to rate this show.
This series is about human bonds, mystical events, mythological rituals, how far you will go for love, and the value of family and bonds. The series' most intriguing aspect is that it builds viewers' anticipation, and then we witness something unexpected that we never expected to see. The director and producers put so much emphasis on character development that after only a few episodes, I realised I was one of the characters in the show. Dialogue generation with each artist's facial expressions was phenomenal, and it kept me amazed throughout both seasons. Icing on the cake was the show's location, which included Istanbul, Göbekli Tepe, Adiyaman, Mount Nemrut, Cappadocia, Mardin, and Bursa, as well as a few other locations in Turkey, and the show's costume designer, who did an enticing job with their sophisticated taste.Atiye and Erhan will definitely leave a mark in your head after this series for sure. If you are a phychic thriller, mysterious and mythological thriller lover you simply can't skip this series at all. It will attract you like a magnet just after the first episode of it.
