Review:
I don't normally read thrillers, so I can assure you that this is not a spooky novel that will terrify you to death. It's wonderfully written, and the finale surprised me! I enjoy how this book delves into psychology, childhood trauma, and the human psyche because I find it fascinating. It just took a few pages for me to get into the story, and I couldn't put it down. Some thriller enthusiasts have told me that it was good but a little predictable, so keep that in mind if you've read a lot of thrillers recently. I didn't predict anything because I probably put too much faith in human goodness, therefore the book surprised me. Thrillers will never be my favroite genre since they deplete me, but I enjoyed this one. If you're not normally a fan of thrillers but want to try something new, this is the book for you! It was impossible for me to put down!.

"Choosing a lover is a lot like choosing a therapist. We need to ask ourselves, is this someone Who will be honest with me, listen to criticism, admit making mistakes, and not promise the impossible?"
"we often mistake love for fireworks - for drama and dysfunction. But real love is very quiet, very still. It's boring, if seen from the perspective of high drama. Love is deep and calm - and constant."
